The four letters are four separate scales, not a single score. You can sit near the middle on one and be firm on another — which is why two people with the same code are not the same person.

02

Assertive vs Turbulent

AssertiveENTP-A

“Rules are meant to be broken, ideas are meant to be challenged.”

Strengths

Quick-witted, limitless creativity, debate master. Ideas flow like springs, strong social skills, skilled at motivating others to embrace new ideas.

Weaknesses

Three-minute enthusiasm, gives up easily, too argumentative, neglects details and execution.

TurbulentENTP-T

“I raised this point... what will they think of me?”

Strengths

Same intelligence and creativity, but more cautious. You genuinely test your ideas rather than just opposing for the sake of opposing.

Weaknesses

Too concerned about others' evaluations, fears their ideas won't be recognized. Easily burns energy in self-doubt.

04

Assertive and Turbulent: ENTP-A and ENTP-T

The A/T suffix is a separate dimension describing how you respond to stress, not part of the original four letters. ENTP-A describes a more confident, steady response; ENTP-T describes a more self-questioning, perfectionist one. They are two versions of the same four-letter type, so the core description applies to both.
